We enable you to manage investments easily from the mobile app, from adding goals and accounts to viewing holdings and checking performance.
Add a Goal or Account
- From the home screen, select + Open new account under the accounts section.
- Choose the type of account you’d like to open.
View and Adjust Holdings
To view your holdings:
- From the home screen, scroll down to Accounts and choose the account you’d like to view.
- Tap the account again and scroll down to the Holdings section to view your holdings.
To adjust your portfolio:
- From the home screen, scroll down to Accounts and choose the account you want to view.
- Tap the account again and scroll down to the Portfolio strategy section.
- Select Change next to Portfolio strategy to change the type of portfolio, or select Edit next to Allocation to adjust your allocation.
View Performance Data and Projections
- To view your overall performance, select the See performance link on the home page of your app, located right below your Total net worth.
- To see performance data for an individual goal, select the goal below your performance graph.
View External Accounts
- From the home page, scroll down to External accounts to see any external accounts connected to Betterment.
- Select Manage if you need to make any changes.
Edit Personal Information
- Select Menu from the bottom of your home screen.
- Select Profile to update your Name, email, phone number, or address.
How can I view my account’s activity?
- Select Menu from the bottom of your home screen and select Activity.
- You can filter by account type, transaction type, and timeframe.
