How do I change my Social Security assumptions?

To change your Social Security assumptions:

1. Log into Betterment and navigate to your Retirement goal from the menu.
2. Click on Forecaster in the Goal Progress section.
3. Once you click "Edit additional assumptions" you'll be able to change your Social Security assumptions.

For reference, you can download your Social Security data file from the Social Security Administration website, as well as see your earnings record.
