Now in its fourth year, Betterment’s 2026 Retail Investor Survey draws on three years of data to explore where investors turn for guidance and how those choices may relate to their financial wellness. This year’s findings, based on responses from 1,000 U.S. investors, offer a view of both the habits shaping investor confidence today and how those habits have evolved over time.
