Contribute to your 401(k) for a $10 gift card
As a contribution-eligible participant in your employer-sponsored 401(k) plan (“Plan”) offered through Betterment LLC and Betterment for Business LLC (together, “Betterment”), you have been randomly selected to be eligible to receive a $10 dollar gift card. This offer is only valid if you set your contribution rate and meet all other eligibility requirements by May 23, 2023, and you will only become eligible after your 401(k) account is funded with a minimum of $20 by July 4, 2023.
This offer will be processed in conjunction with a third party, Goody Technologies, Inc. (“Goody”). If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a link from Betterment to select a $10 gift card of your choice on Goody’s website. By participating in this offer, you agree to Goody’s Terms of Use. Betterment is not responsible for the fulfillment of any actions you take on Goody’s website, the redeemability of any gift card provided by Goody, or the quality of any goods or services received in exchange for any such gift card.
This offer is not a benefit, right, or feature of your plan. The selection of participants to receive this offer is random and every unfunded participant has the same odds of receiving it. It is being offered by Betterment and is not compensation paid for by the Plan or the Plan sponsor. You should consult a tax advisor for any tax implications.
As a service provider for your Plan, Betterment stands to benefit financially when you fund your account. For that reason, this offer presents a conflict of interest.
This offer is available to U.S. residents only, is non-transferable, and can be revoked by Betterment at any time. This offer is only available to the Plan account associated with the email address receiving this email and does not apply to any other account(s) opened or held through Betterment.
Betterment reserves the right to limit offers you are eligible to receive, and to refuse or recover any offers if Betterment determines in its sole discretion that they were obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided in opening the account, or that any terms of the Betterment account agreements have been violated.
