Your plan sponsor dashboard is getting an upgrade
We're making it easier to manage your plan, with faster access to tasks, payroll status, support contacts, and your full benefits lineup.
Managing a 401(k) plan comes with plenty to think about. Your dashboard shouldn't add to that. That's why our team has been rebuilding the Betterment at Work plan sponsor experience from the ground up.
After talking to plan sponsors, like you, we made the new dashboard dynamic, which means it adapts to where you are in your Betterment journey. Whether you’re onboarding or already up and running, you’ll see resources that are relevant to your needs.
One of the biggest things plan sponsors told us was that sometimes, on the old dashboard, it was hard to locate important information. With our latest refresh, all of your daily tasks—like outstanding payrolls, integration status, and action items—are right there when you log in.
Here's a look at what's changing in May 2026 and what it means for you.
Everything you need is on the home screen
Check off tasks on your to-do list. Tasks that need your attention have been prioritized, so they’re clear and easy to follow. Spend less time navigating and more time on what matters.
Get AI-powered benchmarking for your plan. Wondering how your 401(k) stacks up? Our new benchmarking tool analyzes your plan's participation and contribution rates and shows you where you stand relative to national averages. We're rolling this out to a limited group of plan sponsors for now, with more plans getting access soon.
Check the status of payroll integrations. Whether you need to approve outstanding payrolls or reconnect an integration, you'll see all required actions when you log in.
Get your client support contacts. We know that easy access to a real person matters. Your client support contacts are now surfaced directly on the home screen, and they update based on where you are in your journey.
See all your benefits in one place. If your Betterment at Work plan includes more than a 401(k), your dashboard now reflects that. You'll have visibility into benefits like 529 education savings plans and certified financial coaching directly from the home screen, that helps ensure benefits are easier to find, use, and communicate to your employees.
Easier access to your personal account. If you're both a plan sponsor and a plan participant, you can more easily move between your employer and personal accounts. We've also separated plan sponsor settings from company settings, so each is easier to manage independently.
A cleaner experience across the board. Beyond the home screen, we've also reorganized your Resources, Help Center, and Documents to align with your new dynamic dashboard. Everything is designed to be where you would expect to find it.
What this means for you
You don't need to do anything to get these changes—they'll be available to you automatically when you log in.
If you have questions about your plan, your support team is always available through your dashboard.
