After years of working in financial services, Jon Stein realized that most products—especially those created for sophisticated individual investors—were not made with customers in mind. He also saw an opportunity to change all that with the thoughtful application of technology.  At Betterment the mission is to deliver “better results in less time, with more peace of mind” for investors.
