Robo advisers offer cheaper route to retirement

Millions of Americans need retirement advice. The ones who already have considerable assets and are heading for a secure retirement can find and pay for it.

But those just starting out, with little or no assets, often can’t find help. Automated, or “robo,” investment services, some say, are their best chance to obtain advisory services.
